What a moving sales consultant does here
Our sales consultants are the first trusted voice customers hear after they request a quote. You will work inside our sales workflow (CRM and estimate tools) to qualify moves, explain services, and schedule surveys when needed.
- Respond quickly to inbound calls, texts, and web leads
- Conduct phone estimates and schedule in-home or virtual surveys for larger homes
- Build accurate quotes for local residential and select commercial moves
- Follow up until the customer books or declines, with professional, no-pressure communication
- Coordinate with operations so booked jobs match crew capacity and service area
Pay, commission, and schedule
Competitive hourly base pay plus commission on booked moves.
Exact rates depend on experience with moving sales, inside sales, or high-ticket home services. Top performers who manage the full estimate-to-booked pipeline earn more through commission. Full-time schedules are typical; part-time may be considered for experienced candidates.
Location: Twin Cities metro (Minneapolis, St. Paul, and nearby suburbs). In-office and field estimate work; not a work-from-home-only posting.
Requirements
- Strong phone presence and clear written follow-up (email/text)
- Comfort explaining pricing, valuation, and local moving services honestly
- Organized follow-up habits; experience with a CRM is a plus
- Valid driver license preferred for occasional in-home estimates (not a CDL driver role)
- Reliable attendance and teamwork with dispatch and crew leads
Nice to have: Prior work as a moving sales representative, relocation consultant, or inside sales for home services, storage, or remodeling.
